ADMISSION
All application forms must be completed in full, signed and returned by email or hard copy to Future Stars.Children are accepted on Short or Long-Term basis. Our flexible service is divided in 2 categories to meet our parent’s childcare needs
- SERVICE CATEGORIES
CONTRACTED FIXED DAYS
- Secured place,
- Committed to selected number of days
- Minimum 1 or 2 registered days per week on selected minimum days
- Fixed rates applied to the selected days,
- Additional days will be charged at Daily Day Rates
- Absence on fixed days will continue with a fixed daily charge
- Sibling rate applied from 2 days or more.
- Advance monthly payment required prior to month of service
- Cannot swap session between Breakfast & Afterschool Clubs
- Unused sessions cannot be carried over

- Deposit of 10 session per club
- Deposit paid for registered club will be charged at daily fixed rate.
- Occasional use of non-registered club (no deposit paid) will incur the higher casual rate per session.
- 30 Term Time working days written notice to reduce fixed number of days
- No refunds/concessions will be given for missed days
- Minimum of two Term contract (7 months) before termination period begins
- All booking patterns will be deemed as continuous until written notice is received.
- The contract is continuous
- Annual renewal fee £10.00 per child, automatically applied at the start of the new academic year
- School half days will incur an additional fee for early collection
1.1 CONTRACTED- EARLY COLLECTION
- Point 1a-u included into this category
- Time allocation from 3.30-4.15pm only
- Collection after this time will incur the full session daily date
- Deposit and registration fee apply
- Excludes snack
1.2 CASUAL- Ad Hoc
- Completed registration
- Subject to availability
- Open to non-registered members
- Same day session (cut off point 2.45pm)
- No deposit
- Cash Payment on the day
- Capped at 10 sessions per year
- FEES
- Please see price list for up-to-date price per session.
Fees must CLEAR into our bank account no later than the 30th of each month prior to the month of service. Late payments will attract a charge of £5 per day.
- FEES ARE CALCULATED PER TERM payments can be made as follows:
TERM 1 – four monthly payments
TERM 2 – three monthly payments
TERM 3 – four monthly payments
Other payment arrangements must be cleared with the manager and written agreement made. Cash/Cheques/Standing Orders accepted.
Sessions are booked a term at a time (minimum 12 weeks) in advance. You will receive an invoice per term and a breakdown of the amount to pay each month for that term.
- Additional COSTS/ FEE
- Additional Days– on contracted days will be charged at daily fix day rate
- Drop Days– will be applied after receiving 30 term time days notice by email (current months full payment will be applicable) verbal notice will not be accepted.
- Sibling Rates– apply if siblings are present on the same day
- Admin Fee of £12– applied to any changes to the invoice
- Redbridge Afterschool Clubs– admin fee will be applied on temporary drop of day that fall on the same registered day.
- Late Collection session ends 6.15pm
- Unarranged– will incur a charge of £1.50 per minute after 6.15. parent will sign late register on arrival. fee payable on arrival
- Arranged–You must call no later than 5.45 pm before the session finishes at 6.15pm to arrange a late pick up. There will be a flat rate late pickup fee of 10.00 which will allow you to collect up to 30 minutes late (6.45pm), which after will incur £1.50 per min until collection THIS FEE IS PAYABLE ON ARRIVAL.
- Persistent un-booked late pick up may lead to a termination of child’s place.
- Future Stars Childcare is open throughout the school term of 39 weeks. parents/guardians will be charged for 39 complete academic weeks.
- Bank Holidays, Inset Days, Polling Days, Unexpected Closures are chargeable at normal daily rate and will be included in the Terms Invoice. (Rent is still charged by school on all closed days)
- Day Care can be booked on inset days if there is a demand for opening a top up fee will be charged.
- Outstanding Monthly payment – advance monthly payment must be cleared by the end of the month for the commencing month- arrears will result in non-collection of child from class to the Afterschool club.
- School half day/parents evening– clubs will remain open from when finishes, an additional charge will be applied plus the normal day charge
- PAYMENT ARREARS
- All payments to Future Stars must be made in advance for the prior month of service.
- Account must be at zero balance at the end of each month to book for following Month/Term. Your service may be suspended until account is up to date. Fees will remain payable during suspension.
- Buildup of payment arrears of more than one month fees will result in email/letter sent out to the parent informing the breach Terms & Condition with a £15 administration charge. Payment must be cleared in 5 working days.
- The parent/carer/family member named on application form will be liable to pay all costs, fees, disbursements and charges including all debt recovery, and legal insolvency fees and costs incurred by the Future Stars Childcare in recovery of unpaid invoices.
- ‘Bounced’ cheque will incur a £15 charge to cover bank charges and administration
- Late payments will attract a charge of £5 per day.
CHANGE IN ARRANGEMENTS
Should you require a change your childcare service arrangement for instance
- Reduce Number of contracted fixed days- must notify by email, this will be active after 30 Term time days.
- Change from contracted fixed to ad- hoc days will be applied after one term of service by manager
- Temporary Leave (maternity leave, arrival of grandparents, loss of job, special circumstance) May be granted, requires 30 term time day’s notice (current months payment will be applied in full)
- Your child’s space will be held for one term only (12 weeks), after which your deposit is forfeited if you do not resume service.
- TERMINATION OF YOUR CHILDCARE CARE SERVICE)
- Termination from Future Stars permanently will only eligible after minimum of six months service, followed by 30 Term time days written notice, (Term Time Days exclude school, bank holidays and weekends)
- Withdrawing before completion of six months service will incur termination fee of 6 months invoice payments. Deposit will be forfeited
- 30 days Term Time notice period is chargeable against your number of contracted/non-fix days.
- Future Stars have the right to receive full payment during the notice period whether the child attends the club or not.
- Future Stars Childcare have the right at any time to give written notice to terminate or change the agreement with immediate effect, if you fail to pay fees within 5 days of the due date.
- Due to high demand session use is monitored and Future Stars childcare have the right to withdraw booked sessions from children not regularly using them to make spaces available for others who are on our waiting list. Notice will be given.
- Deposit will be applied after the 30 term time days’ notice. The deposit will be used as Breakfast and Afterschool club sessions only- monetary deposit is non-refundable.
- Failure to notify in writing will result in loss of deposit in addition to full months fee will be payable with continuation of contract
- Notice less that 30 days will automatically forfeit deposit
- Credit- (childcare vouchers/cash) Should you decide to Withdraw from all club services- no cash will be refunded only credited Breakfast & Afterschool club sessions will be allocated depending on credit amount
- Change of school with credit at Future Stars will be forfeited, you cannot claim cash/credit as service is exclusive to Redbridge Primary Students only.
- Service will be available for members who have left on casual walk-in rate
ABSENCE (from Breakfast /Afterschool club)
If your child will be absent from Afterschool Club on a day s/he is registered to attend It is imperative that the Future Stars is notified as soon as possible.
Absence due to:
- School Trips and/or Religious Days will be charged at Full day rate
- Doctors Appointment- Full Day rate still apply
- Illness- 1-3 days off sick – Full Day rates still apply
- 4 days plus will require proof of prescribed medicine/letter to claim Credit back to the following month
- Family holidays- will be charged full daily rate
- School Residential Trip will not be charged if notice is given with correct date the prior to month of service
- This is to support and pay for staff allocated to children.
- The Play leader has a list of children each day to be collected, all of whom must be accounted for. Unless we have been notified in advance that the child is going home alone or with a friend s/he will be taken to the club as arranged
5.ADULT CHILD RATIO
Adult child ratio is 1:10 at Future Stars.
One to one adult ratio can be arranged for children with
- Special Needs
- Challenging Behavior
- Additional cost Apply. (Daily Fee plus staff hourly pay rate apply.)
If management suggest of one to one as a measure of provision for challenging behavior to offer support to the child and minimize risks. Parent can decline this offer; however, this may result in temporary Expulsion/ Termination of contract due to risks caused by the challenging behavior of the child, with immediate effect
- TOILET TRAINING
- All children must be Toilet trained.
- Children MUST be able to use the toilet independently
- Parents must provide extra underwear and clothing if there is a pattern of accidents.
- Staff will assist child with change of clothes.
- Staff will not be responsible for changing soiled clothing. Parents will be called to arrive early to change child.
- Consistent patterns of soiling and accidents will be monitored and recorded
- Consistent patterns of soiling and accidents will result in one to one staff with additional cost
- MEDICAL /SICKNESS/ALLERGY
Parents must inform Future Stars of their Childs current and new medical conditions immediately and to update medicines regularly.
It is the policy of Future Stars not to administer any medication, unless prescribed by a doctor and full instructions given as stated in our administration of medication policy. (See policy)
Parents request of their children to remain indoors to prevent exposure to Cold weather or for a runny nose will not be accepted.
Staff will make judgments of weather conditions and risk assess environment
All children are required to play outside- children with medical conditions such as Asthma are monitored regularly
Children are only kept indoors if they have a fever or have an injury.
- DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
Any children found to damage the school/club property,
Parents will be asked to reimburse the cost of replacement/ repair of the damaged goods/property
- LIABILITY
- Future Stars accepts no liability for any loss suffered by you, arising directly or indirectly because of being temporarily closed or non-admittance of the child to the club in the event of an emergency.
- Future Stars accept no responsibility for your child whilst in your care on the club’s premises e.g. prior to the agreed arrival time or after the agreed pick up time.
- Future Stars will not be liable to parents and/or children for any economic loss of any kind, for damage to the child’s or parent’s property, for any loss resulting from a claim made by any third party or for any indirect or consequential loss or damage of any kind.
- BEHAVIOUR MANAGEMENT
Future Stars has positive Behaviour policy with a reward system. All children are rewarded with positive reinforcements however,
we reserve the right to ask you to withdraw your child with immediate effect if the child is continually displaying inappropriate behaviour. Where appropriate, all efforts will be made to work with families before such action is taken.
- EXPULSION &TERMINATION OF CONTRACT
The following reasons will result in Expulsion of Child from the setting or Termination of contract.
Immediate Causes for Termination of Contact
- The child is at risk of causing serious injury to other children or him/herself.
- Parent threatens physical or intimidating actions towards staff members.
Parental Actions for Child’s Expulsion
- Failure to pay/habitual lateness in payments.
- Failure to complete required forms (general, medical, allergy)
- Verbal abuse to staff in front of enrolled children. Verbal abuse to staff.
- Parenting styles conflict with Future Stars policy and code of conduct
Child’s Actions for Expulsion
- Failure of child to adjust after a reasonable amount of time.
- Uncontrollable tantrums/angry outbursts Ongoing physical or verbal abuse to staff or other children.
- It is considered that the continued presence of the child referred to, is detrimental to the health and safety or well-being of the child or other children in the setting or the staff then the setting may serve notice to the parent/guardians or a request for the child to be immediately removed from the setting with any notice

- AGREEMENT
These Terms and Conditions represent the entire agreement and understanding between the parents (including other carers) and Future Stars. Any other understandings, agreements, warranties, conditions, terms and representations, whether verbal or written, expressed or implied are excluded fully permitted by law. We reserve the right to update / amend these Terms and Conditions, Policy at any time. One month notice will be given of any changes made.
The Breakfast and Afterschool Club is operated by Future Stars Childcare ltd.
I have read and understand these Terms and Conditions and agree to be bound by them.
